Fall Fun (and Fashion) on the Farm!

It may still be 90 degrees in Florida, but Fall has arrived here in Kentucky and we are enjoying every bit of it before heading back home this weekend.  If you couldn't tell by the scarf, hat and riding boots that weren't exactly necessary, but I still wore anyhow. ;)

It has been in the 60s and low 70s our entire visit.  We took full advantage of that and went straight to the apple orchards immediately. We found a cute little spot in Owensboro, KY that has a play area for kids.  It was filled with pumpkins, apple picking, train rides, a petting zoo, horse and pony rides and a huge jumping pad.  We ended it all with yummy apple slushies! What more could you ask for when it comes to Fall fun?

The girls absolutely loved it and I love that they got to wear their new Matilda Jane dresses.  I have been dying to put them on them and it will be a few more months until they can wear them back home.  I even got to wear my new Pink Blush dress that was perfect for this weather.

I love how versatile my dress is and I've been able to wear it multiple times and achieve different looks.  It's perfect for the transition from Summer to Fall and even Fall to Winter.  It's soft and super comfortable. Add a scarf or a vest, the possibilities for this dress seem endless.  This is definitely going to be a staple in my closet the rest of this year.

What is your favorite Fall accessory/outfit?

30th Birthday Makeover + the Perfect Party Dress

I am officially 30 y'all!  I can honestly say that this milestone is something that I have been looking forward to for a while.  My 20s were great, but now I get to spend my 30s watching my girls grow and now that they aren't so little anymore, going on adventures as a family and spending more quality time with my husband.

Since I knew turning 30 was going to be a big one, I wanted to go into it with new hair and of course, you can't celebrate without an amazing birthday outfit!

I seriously scored in both of those areas last weekend.

I told my friend, Callie, who specializes in hair color, that I wanted something different and just to do "whatever" she wanted to my hair.  I absolutely love the way it turned out.  The golden tones and the overall lighter brown is perfect.  It was just enough change to be noticeable, but not so drastic that I would go into shock ;)  I can't wait to go see her again for the possibility of something even brighter!  I also cut around 10 inches off, which felt so liberating.  I loved my long hair, so I was hesitant to cut so much, but I'm so glad I did.  I actually think I could go even shorter now!

Now, let's talk about this PinkBlush dress, which I wore three times last week.  It was just that comfortable and perfect for every birthday dinner I went to.  The material is light-weight, the color made me look tan and I love that it flows.  I think my favorite part about this dress is the scalloped edges on both the arms and the skirt.  It is simple, yet I still felt beautiful.

Since I love PinkBlush clothing so much, I've teamed up with them to give away $75 to shop!  You can enter by heading over to my Instagram page.  For an extra 5 entries, leave a comment below!  Good Luck!

Dress :: PinkBlush Maternity

  • How far along?: 34 Weeks
  • Baby is the size of a: honeydew (20 in, 5 lbs) (according to WTE Pregnancy)
  • Total weight gain/loss:  +18 (slowly gaining about a pound a week)
  • Stretch Marks?  So far, so good.
  • The Bump: I'll be honest, I'm enjoying all the compliments that I am getting!  I actually feel like I look good this pregnancy.  My bump is out there, but it's not crazy.
  • Symptoms:  I can't seem to shake this heartburn.
  • Food Cravings: Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and they have not been good to me.
  • Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: Even though I'm craving PB and J, they are making me a little ill.  Oh, the dilemma!
  • Sleep: Feels good to once again be back in my own bed!  We are finished traveling for the year, so I'm hoping we can get into a good routine.
  • What I miss:  Sushi.  I could go for some right now!
  • Weddings Rings On or Off: On.
  • Any Names Picked Out Yet: I think we have narrowed it down to a few that we both agree on, but that could change.  Michael doesn't like what I like and I don't like what he likes.  Lol.
  • Gender: We've still managed to keep it a surprise from my family and friends.  Of course, if you've been keeping up with my posts, you know that Michael already let it out to his family.
  • Movement: Still slow this week, but when he/she does move, it's crazy!
  • Maternity Clothes: Oh, yes!  Thank goodness for Target and PinkBlush Maternity clothing.
  • Labor Signs: I've had a few contractions that I can tell.  Nothing major and it's happening more in the evenings.
  • Best Moment of the Week:  I got to hear the baby's heartbeat again this week, which always makes me smile!  We had our "Sprinkle Shower" and it was amazing.  We are so thankful for all our sweet friends who were able to make it and celebrate with us.  I was going to post pictures, but then I realized there may have been an outfit or two in the pictures that would give away the gender...oops!
  • Feeling:  Anxious.  We are so ready to meet our baby :)
  • What I'm excited about/looking forward to:  We are looking forward to spending next weekend with our friends at the Pumpkin Patch and Halloween Happenings.

I had such a hard time finding maternity clothes when I was pregnant with Emma.  They were either super expensive and not something I could wear after pregnancy or they made me look bigger than I already felt.  I was so very happy to find PINKBLUSH Maternity this time around.  A huge shout out to their maternity line.  I have absolutely fallen in love with their clothes and was excited to do this review for y'all.

I have had so much fun dressing up my baby bump and I seriously owe it all to PinkBlush Maternity.  I can't believe I didn't know about them for my first pregnancy.  That's why it makes me happy to be sharing them with all of you now.  I also love that I can still wear these amazing clothes after having Baby Funk#2!

Here are a few of my favorite looks for this Fall!  I was fortunate enough to enjoy cooler weather while on vacation and wear these amazing clothes.  Now, if Florida would cooperate! ;)

This maternity dress made me feel gorgeous!  I couldn't get enough of it and can't wait to wear it again.  You can find it here.

This top is so lightweight and comfortable!  You could easily pair it up with a fun scarf or statement jewelry.  I've probably worn it 100 times already!  You can find a similar top here.

LOVE this kimono!  When I'm in a rush or want to spruce up my outfit a little, I just throw this on.  It's the perfect addition to my wardrobe :)  You can find this top here.

PinkBlush even has a clothing line for women!  You can check out their site here.  This is definitely a clothing line that I will be using for years to come.

If you hurry now, you can get 30% off your purchase using code 'FBLIKE' for today!  PinkBlush is always having great deals, which is another reason why I love them so much!

Be sure to follow them on Instagram and Facebook!
