Thank you to Feld Entertainment for gifting us tickets to Monster Jam!  As always, all opinions are 100% honest and my own.

Did you miss the Monster Jam show earlier this month?  If you did and are super sad about it (like I am), then you have another chance to go!  Monster Jam is coming back this weekend, Saturday, February 3rd, to Tampa and will be providing the adrenaline charged family fun we all love at the Raymond James Stadium!

If you are a fan of Grave Digger, El Toro Loco, Soldier Fortune, Cleatus and Hot Wheels, you are not going to want to miss this special show!  You will seriously be on the edge of your seat the entire time!  It's not too late to get tickets and your kids will definitely thank you for it.  If you have little ones, like I do, then you can easily turn this into a fun date night too.  Tailgating, pit parties and more truly does makes for a great night for all ages!

Non-Toxic Hair Products for Toddlers (that work!)

“This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of SoCozy. All opinions are my own and not edited by the sponsor”

I remember the first time my toddler let me french braid her hair. I couldn't believe it! She is always on the move and rarely lets me even brush her hair these days.  I definitely counted that as a mom win and it looked so cute on her.

Things have changed with our recent discovery of SoCozy hair products. She absolutely loves them and looks forward to me spraying her hair with the Detangler + Leave-in Conditioner spray after bath-time.  Her favorite part is getting to spray my hair with it too!  I'll admit, I may have taken over her hair products a few times (or more).

As a mom, my new favorite hair product is the De-Tangler too.  I can't believe I wasn't using this all along.  It leaves Em's hair feeling so soft and it brushes so easy now.  The best part is that she doesn't have crazy bed head in the mornings anymore, which makes it easier to brush.

Bath-time is always fun around our house, but now it smells just as good as it is fun with the SoCozy 3-1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body WashI love that I can get the girls bathed in a shorter amount of time with three things in one.  This leaves us more time for playing and splashing!

SoCozy products are non-toxic and made without parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic color, propylene glycol. Free of alcohol, gluten, wheat, peanuts and tree nuts.  This is perfect for my girls!  As a mom, we want the best for our kids, including what is safe for them.  I feel good about putting these products in their hair and including them in our bath-time routine.  I mean, did I mention that I used them for myself?  I love them that much!
SoCozy products are So Smart, So Safe, So Easy and So Cool:

So Smart: Genius is more like it. SoCozy believes knowledge is power, which is why education is at its core—the pulse of the brand—so you’ll always find the latest advice, solutions, tips, and trends.

So Safe: No nasties in here; just good, clean, honest formulations with ingredients that perform at the highest level. SoCozy is always safe and effective, and completely non-toxic.

So Easy: Because being a parent isn’t always easy, SoCozy makes hair care that is. These simple, fun, multi-functional products streamline tub time to make styling a snap.

So Cool: Take a strand. SoCozy encourages and supports individuality. For all kids and any hair type—SoCozy’s mission is to build confidence and inspire originality.

Fall Fashion with Matilda Jane Clothing

Saturday, October 1, 2016

Happy October!  One of my favorite things about Fall is the clothing.  There are so many different options!  I love all the boots, sweaters, scarves, layering, hats...you name it!

Now that I have two little girls, I love dressing them up and I especially love them matching.  They definitely have a better wardrobe than I do!  I'm taking advantage of dressing them alike until they eventually catch on and don't want to be seen in the same outfit together.

Is there anything sweeter than matching sisters?!  All the heart eyes for these two!

I first heard of Matilda Jane Clothing when my sister had her daughter and thought it was the cutest clothing.  Honestly, there are so many options for girls clothing out there that it's easy to forget some, but Matilda Jane has always been unforgettable with their mixed prints and bright colors.

I picked out matching outfits for the girls that I knew would be perfect for the Fall.  The bold Fall colors made me think of Pumpkin Spice and everything nice for sweet, little girls.  I can't believe this is my first experience with MJ.  Let me tell you, I have been missing out!  Their clothes are amazing!

The details, the quality and the overall adorableness are just a few of the many reasons I have fallen in love with Matilda Jane Clothing.  I seriously can't get enough and my wish list is a mile long!  We may have even purchased this play tent for the girls for Christmas...but shh, don't tell them! ;)

Emma loves this dress just as much as I do!  It was really hard to get her to take it off and she even insisted on wearing it 2 days in a row.  I think she would wear it everyday if she could!  Her favorite part was how it flowed when she twirls!  She couldn't get enough and I can't either.

The girls had so much fun in these dresses and I can't wait to show them off at Fall festivals and Pumpkin Patches this year.  They ran around and played in these dresses for hours and I have no doubt they are going to hold up.  That's important with a toddler and a 10 month old!

Matilda Jane Clothing offers so many cute options.  I can add printed or solid leggings to these dresses when the weather cools off more.  The mixed prints allows me so many different options and I love that.  Did I mention that they offer women's clothing as well?  Do you think the girls will ok with me matching them too?!

The neat thing about MJ is that you go through a Trunk Keeper, which makes your experience more personal and has such a great family feel.  You definitely want to get in touch with the best Trunk Keeper (in my opinion), Stefanie.  You can follow her Facebook page here and get all the details on upcoming promotions, sale and all the latest releases.

Currently, for the Month of October, if you purchase $175, your choice of a duffel bag is only $25.  This is perfect for carrying around all that new MJ clothing!  They offer new releases each month, so be sure you are following Stefanie!  I personally can't wait to get the girls their Christmas outfits from here!

How to Throw a Summer Spa Party | The Yellow Mustard Seed Co

I love hosting girls night!  I decided at the beginning of the year that I would try to have a night in (sometimes out) once a month with my girlfriends.  For the most part, we have kept to it with a month here and there missed due to a holiday or just everyone being super busy.

One month that we missed was because everyone's schedule was so crazy, that I thought what better way to catch up and relax than with a Summer Spa Party?  There's still time left in the Summer to host your own or you could easily turn this into a Fall Party!

Any of you ladies part of the Bits of Life Facebook group?  It's an amazing place to go to meet other women who are inspiring, supportive and encouraging.  You can find everything from beauty to motherhood to home.  It's wonderful!  I have been able to meet some incredible women through this group, including Sarah, the owner of The Yellow Mustard Seed Co.  The best part about meeting her is that out of the 16,000 people in this group, she lives in my area!

When I found out that she hand-makes soaps and scrubs, I knew I wanted her to come over and help host a Summer Spa Party for my friends.  We had so much fun trying the products!

So, want to know how to throw your own spa party with The Yellow Mustard Seed Co.?

1. Pick a date and invite all your closest girlfriends to enjoy a night in at your place.  Make sure you let your guests know to dress comfy.  Pajamas are totally acceptable for this!

2. Head to The Yellow Mustard Seed Co. and pick out a sample set for each of your guests.  It includes:

* Mint Chocolate Sugar Scrub
* Mustard Seed Soap Scrub
* Lemon & Lavender Sugar Scrub
* White Macadamia Nut Coffee Sugar Scrub

The Lemon & Lavender is my favorite, I could eat the White Macadamia Nut Coffee AND on Monday, September 5th, Pumpkin Spice will be released!!

3. Grab some of these amazing Goat's Milk Bar Soaps.  These are great for anyone with sensitive skin!

4. You can't forget the food and drinks!  Make sure you have wine...lots of wine :)  I made this easy and delicious quiche.  We kept it all pretty simple with fruit, cheesecake gelato and chocolate covered peanut butter balls.

5.  Try out all the different scrubs, soaps and here's a DIY face mask to try after using the scrub!  You can even have mani/pedis afterwards while you sit around, chat and relax!

A Summer Spa Party would be perfect for a girls night in, just to pamper yourself, a bachelorette party or even a birthday party!

The Yellow Mustard Seed Co also offers aromatherapy and an all natural laundry detergent!

Bath Time (must-have) with LatherUp Co.

Monday, August 29, 2016

I don't know about you, but bath time around our house can be so much fun!  However, with a toddler and a 9 month old, it can also be a bit chaotic.

Michael has always wondered about an easier way to bathe the girls and LatherUp Co. has come up with the perfect way to always enjoy bath time with your little one(s).  LATHERMITTS!

LatherMitts are basically wash cloths for your hands!  They are made from soft, cotton terrycloth, which is perfect for our little Charlotte's sensitive skin.  My husband and I feel good about bathing her and her sister with these. The gentle neoprene grip that lines LatherMitts' thumb and forefinger ensures that squirmy, slippery kids are secure and safe in your hands, which is an even bigger plus for our little wiggle worm.  It's so hard to get her to not stand up or crawl all over the tub!  LatherMitts also allow us to get our girls clean from head to toe without missing any areas.

When Sarah, the inventor and mom behind LatherUp Co., reached out to me about testing out LatherMitts, I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity!  These really are the greatest bath time product out there for your little ones.  It should be on everyone's must-have list for bath-time!  Look how much my husband loves them!

Let me just say, if you are looking for a unique yet practical gift to give to any first time mommy or those with a new little babe on the way, this is it!  I wish I had a pair when the girls were newborns.  Bath time can be a scary experience for new parents and LatherMitts makes bath time safe and relaxing for baby and for Mommy and Daddy too.  LatherMitts has allowed our girls to have more play time in the tub and less time trying to get them to wash up.  The soap lathers up really well and so much better than it does on a baby washcloth, so we spend less time having to add more soap to a cloth and trying to wash them.  It does mean more clean up for us from the increased amount of splashing from playing, but they are only little once and I think we will survive! :)

Want to grab a pair or know a mommy-to-be who would love to have these?!  Head over to LatherUp Co. and use code 'THXLITTLESTFUNK' for $5 off your purchase!

How about winning a pair?!  I've teamed up with LatherUp Co to giveaway 3 pairs of LatherMitts!  To enter, check out our Instagram page!

And this is why we have bath time...and LatherMitts...some days multiple times!

Beach Photoshoot + Made by Jennifer Review

This evening on the beach was full of flat hair, wind, a top that wouldn't stay down, a sleepy infant, a toddler that wouldn't listen, humidity and a hot (literally) husband who wished he hadn't worn jeans...BUT I couldn't be more obsessed with the wonderful moments that Off the Walls Photography captured of my precious family!

Andrea is the sweetest photographer (located in St. Pete) and has captured so many other wonderful moments of my girls.

I can't say enough good things about this adorable suspender skirt from Made by Jeniffer. I was so excited when I received one for both Emma and Charlotte and they exceeded my expectations.  The material was soft and fit the girls perfect!  I love handmade shops and the stitch-work is amazing.  They have been through the wash a few times and still look just as new!  It couldn't have been a better outfit for our beach session!  I'm seriously in love!  Every little girl need this skirt in their closet! Of course, you can never go wrong with a matching headband from Birdie Baby Boutique and moccasins from Freshly Picked either!

Be sure to check out Made by Jennifer and follow her on social media.  She has the most adorable, handmade clothes for babies, toddlers and even matching Mommy and Me outfits!  I'm dying over this Lace Toddler shirt
