Fall Fun (and Fashion) on the Farm!

It may still be 90 degrees in Florida, but Fall has arrived here in Kentucky and we are enjoying every bit of it before heading back home this weekend.  If you couldn't tell by the scarf, hat and riding boots that weren't exactly necessary, but I still wore anyhow. ;)

It has been in the 60s and low 70s our entire visit.  We took full advantage of that and went straight to the apple orchards immediately. We found a cute little spot in Owensboro, KY that has a play area for kids.  It was filled with pumpkins, apple picking, train rides, a petting zoo, horse and pony rides and a huge jumping pad.  We ended it all with yummy apple slushies! What more could you ask for when it comes to Fall fun?

The girls absolutely loved it and I love that they got to wear their new Matilda Jane dresses.  I have been dying to put them on them and it will be a few more months until they can wear them back home.  I even got to wear my new Pink Blush dress that was perfect for this weather.

I love how versatile my dress is and I've been able to wear it multiple times and achieve different looks.  It's perfect for the transition from Summer to Fall and even Fall to Winter.  It's soft and super comfortable. Add a scarf or a vest, the possibilities for this dress seem endless.  This is definitely going to be a staple in my closet the rest of this year.

What is your favorite Fall accessory/outfit?

30th Birthday Makeover + the Perfect Party Dress

I am officially 30 y'all!  I can honestly say that this milestone is something that I have been looking forward to for a while.  My 20s were great, but now I get to spend my 30s watching my girls grow and now that they aren't so little anymore, going on adventures as a family and spending more quality time with my husband.

Since I knew turning 30 was going to be a big one, I wanted to go into it with new hair and of course, you can't celebrate without an amazing birthday outfit!

I seriously scored in both of those areas last weekend.

I told my friend, Callie, who specializes in hair color, that I wanted something different and just to do "whatever" she wanted to my hair.  I absolutely love the way it turned out.  The golden tones and the overall lighter brown is perfect.  It was just enough change to be noticeable, but not so drastic that I would go into shock ;)  I can't wait to go see her again for the possibility of something even brighter!  I also cut around 10 inches off, which felt so liberating.  I loved my long hair, so I was hesitant to cut so much, but I'm so glad I did.  I actually think I could go even shorter now!

Now, let's talk about this PinkBlush dress, which I wore three times last week.  It was just that comfortable and perfect for every birthday dinner I went to.  The material is light-weight, the color made me look tan and I love that it flows.  I think my favorite part about this dress is the scalloped edges on both the arms and the skirt.  It is simple, yet I still felt beautiful.

Since I love PinkBlush clothing so much, I've teamed up with them to give away $75 to shop!  You can enter by heading over to my Instagram page.  For an extra 5 entries, leave a comment below!  Good Luck!

Fall Fashion with Matilda Jane Clothing

Happy October!  One of my favorite things about Fall is the clothing.  There are so many different options!  I love all the boots, sweaters, scarves, layering, hats...you name it!

Now that I have two little girls, I love dressing them up and I especially love them matching.  They definitely have a better wardrobe than I do!  I'm taking advantage of dressing them alike until they eventually catch on and don't want to be seen in the same outfit together.

Is there anything sweeter than matching sisters?!  All the heart eyes for these two!

I first heard of Matilda Jane Clothing when my sister had her daughter and thought it was the cutest clothing.  Honestly, there are so many options for girls clothing out there that it's easy to forget some, but Matilda Jane has always been unforgettable with their mixed prints and bright colors.

I picked out matching outfits for the girls that I knew would be perfect for the Fall.  The bold Fall colors made me think of Pumpkin Spice and everything nice for sweet, little girls.  I can't believe this is my first experience with MJ.  Let me tell you, I have been missing out!  Their clothes are amazing!

The details, the quality and the overall adorableness are just a few of the many reasons I have fallen in love with Matilda Jane Clothing.  I seriously can't get enough and my wish list is a mile long!  We may have even purchased this play tent for the girls for Christmas...but shh, don't tell them! ;)

Emma loves this dress just as much as I do!  It was really hard to get her to take it off and she even insisted on wearing it 2 days in a row.  I think she would wear it everyday if she could!  Her favorite part was how it flowed when she twirls!  She couldn't get enough and I can't either.

The girls had so much fun in these dresses and I can't wait to show them off at Fall festivals and Pumpkin Patches this year.  They ran around and played in these dresses for hours and I have no doubt they are going to hold up.  That's important with a toddler and a 10 month old!

Matilda Jane Clothing offers so many cute options.  I can add printed or solid leggings to these dresses when the weather cools off more.  The mixed prints allows me so many different options and I love that.  Did I mention that they offer women's clothing as well?  Do you think the girls will ok with me matching them too?!

The neat thing about MJ is that you go through a Trunk Keeper, which makes your experience more personal and has such a great family feel.  You definitely want to get in touch with the best Trunk Keeper (in my opinion), Stefanie.  You can follow her Facebook page here and get all the details on upcoming promotions, sale and all the latest releases.

Currently, for the Month of October, if you purchase $175, your choice of a duffel bag is only $25.  This is perfect for carrying around all that new MJ clothing!  They offer new releases each month, so be sure you are following Stefanie!  I personally can't wait to get the girls their Christmas outfits from here!
