Twins Bumpdate: 23 + 24 weeks

How far along?
23/24 weeks!

Babies are the size of?
Ears of Corn (8.5in each; 1.3lbs each as of my  last appointment)

Total weight gain/loss?
10lbs+

Are you showing?
Yes! I feel like my stomach can't stretch any more!

Cravings?
Shrimp and Grits! McDonald's cheeseburgers (which is something I never get)

Sleeping?
It's still a hit or miss situation.  Some nights it's decent and some nights I'm up at 3am and can't go back to sleep.

Symptoms?
Still swelling if I'm out doing too much.  My back pain is gone thanks to a prenatal massage.

Genders?
TWINS GIRLS!  We finally had our gender reveal a few weeks ago.  You can watch the video here and read my blog post here.

Movement?
So much movement!  I don't know what they are doing in there, but they are moving all the time now!

Mood this week?
Extremely grateful and happy.

Best moment this week?
Seeing our twin girls at my fetal heart appointment and knowing they are doing well and growing as they should be.  I took my other girls to Dinosaur World and they loved it.  We were also showered with so much love at our baby shower over the weekend and I got a date night with my husband.  I'm so thankful for the wonderful friendships I've made.  We also got to attend a preview event of the new Roaring Springs at ZooTampa and Emma rode her first big girl ride!

Roaring Springs at ZooTampa!

My girls and I had the chance to check out the new Roaring Springs, a three-level splashdown at ZooTampa this week and I'm excited to share all about it with you!

I was a little unsure how much fun the girls would have since they are so little, but they loved that they were able to stand in the Splash Zone!  Well, Charlotte liked the concept but didn't care for the actually splashing part.  Ha!

Roaring Springs officially opens Saturday, June 9th, 2018 and you are going to want a front row seat or a back row seat if you want to get really soaked.

I loved the country vibe, the amazing food from Joe's Diner (fish tacos? Yes, please!), the fun water ride and it's ode to Florida's native landscape and wildlife.  Overall, it exceeded my expectations and my girls didn't want to leave.  I don't blame them either!  Besides all the fun, it's a nice break from the Florida heat.

Of course,  they immediately went for the deconstructed Key Lime Pie and it was delicious!  They will even had fresh squeezed orange juice to drink...yum!  I personally liked it all and can't wait to go back to try some more of what Joe's Diner will offer.

After heading to the Splash Zone, my oldest begged me to go on the ride.  I was hesitant, but headed over thinking she wouldn't be tall enough.  To my surprise, she hit a growth spurt and was tall enough!  You have to be at least 36" to ride with an adult and 42" to ride by yourself.  Being 24 weeks pregnant with twins, I couldn't ride with her and little sis couldn't either.  Thankfully, another blogger friend was able to go with her and I was more nervous than she was!  She made it through and loved every second of it.  My super adventurous and brave 4 year old!

You can experience the rush of Roaring Springs for yourself over and over again with a Zoo Membership or Pay For a Day, Return All Year FREE!

Thank you to ZooTampa for inviting us to their media event!  As always, opinions are 100% honest and my own.

Twins Bumpdate: 21 + 22 weeks

How far along?
21/22 weeks!

Babies are the size of?
Sweet Potatoes (about 8in each; 1lb)

Total weight gain/loss?
10lbs

Are you showing?
Yes! I feel like my stomach can't stretch any more!

Cravings?
Sweets, seafood, carrots and pretty much just food in general.

Sleeping?
Not great this week.  I can't seem to get comfortable no matter what I do.

Symptoms?
I've started to swell and I think most of it is from the humidity.  Pain back has been crazy this week too.  I've started to notice some new stretch marks.

Genders?
TWINS GIRLS!  We finally had our gender reveal a few weeks ago.  You can watch the video here and read my blog post here.

Movement?
More and more with each week!  Michael finally got to feel them kick too!

Mood this week?
Rested (sort of) and refreshed.

Best moment this week?
I got to spend 24hrs in Lido Key with some girlfriends and had such a great time.  We had our last MOPs meeting of the year, which was very bittersweet.  I also attended a preview event for a new fresh fish house here in St. Pete.

Twins Bumpdate: 19 + 20 weeks

How far along?
19/20 weeks!

Babies are the size of?
Mangoes (about 6.5in each; 11oz)

Total weight gain/loss?
8lbs

Are you showing?
Yes! Much sooner than I ever did with my other two, but I love it.

Cravings?
Mexican food, french fries...nothing too crazy.

Sleeping?
It's hit or miss. Some nights are good, some not so great.

Symptoms?
I'm still having some shortness of breath and now back pain has really set in.  I think it's sciatica, which makes it hard to walk some days.
Genders?
TWINS GIRLS!  We finally had our gender reveal and it was so much fun!  I knew all along, but my husband didn't.  You can watch the video here and read my blog post here.

Movement?
So much movement from both of them now! It's weird because they are coming from all over the place and I don't know which one is kicking and moving.

Mood this week?
Tired, but great.  This last two weeks were very busy for us.

Best moment this week?
So many!  We celebrated Em's 4th birthday with a full week of fun. We went to Busch Gardens, my mom flew in from Texas, we went boating and celebrated over the weekend with a Fiesta!  I also attended the Mother of all Baby Showers in Orlando and it was so great meeting some new blogger moms! Oh, and I had my Level 2 ultrasound and go to see our sweet girls.  It's so amazing to see them both together and we can't wait to hold them!
