  • How far along?: 31 Weeks
  • Baby is the size of a: butternut squash (18 in, 3 + lbs) (according to WTE Pregnancy)
  • Total weight gain/loss:  +15 (nothing gained this week...it must have been that "diet" I put myself on because of my glucose test.  Haha!)
  • Stretch Marks?  I'm still hoping they don't show up!  I didn't have any until the last few months with Emma.  Fingers crossed and lots of Bio Oil and Mustela<--This stuff is the best!
  • The Bump: It's out there and I'm loving it.  It's been so fun being pregnant so far.
  • Symptoms:  I've been extra tired this week.
  • Food Cravings: Salad.  I think I've had it every day this week.  I hope that's my body's way of trying to detox from all the sweets I've been eating.
  • Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: Brushing my teeth is still making me a little sick, but it's getting better.
  • Sleep: Had a good week of sleep that was very much needed.
  • What I miss:  Not having to go to the restroom every 5 minutes.  I think this baby is pretty comfortable on my bladder.
  • Weddings Rings On or Off: On.
  • Any Names Picked Out Yet: I think we have narrowed it down to a few that we both agree on, but that could change.  Michael doesn't like what I like and I don't like what he likes.  Lol.
  • Gender: We've still managed to keep it a surprise from my family and friends.  Of course, if you've been keeping up with my posts, you know that Michael already let it out to his family.
  • Movement: I'm loving all these baby kicks and wiggles.  They are the sweetest.
  • Maternity Clothes: Oh, yes!  Thank goodness for Target and PinkBlush Maternity clothing.
  • Labor Signs: No!  I am definitely not ready yet!
  • Best Moment of the Week:  This might sound a little crazy, but I actually enjoyed the 3 hour glucose test I had this week.  I mean, not getting poked at 4 different times to get blood or the fact that I couldn't eat or drink anything, but I got a room to myself with a recliner and got to watch uninterrupted HGTV.  It was a nice little "vacation".
  • Feeling:  Blessed!  We had such good week with friends and I am so thankful for my little family.  I still can't believe we will be a family of four soon!
  • What I'm excited about/looking forward to:  Good results from my glucose test.  I have a pretty busy week with my business coming up and I'm looking forward to it keeping my busy...not that I'm not busy enough with Emma!

  • How far along?: 30 Weeks
  • Baby is the size of a: small cabbage (17-19 in, 3 + lbs) (according to WTE Pregnancy)
  • Total weight gain/loss:  +15
  • Stretch Marks?  I'm still hoping they don't show up!  I didn't have any until the last few months with Emma.  Fingers crossed and lots of Bio Oil and Mustela<--This stuff is the best!
  • The Bump: It's out there!  I'm glad it's not slowing me down because Emma sure isn't slowing down.  Lol.
  • Symptoms:  None.  I'm feeling pretty good this week.
  • Food Cravings: Everything, which is making it hard to eat anything because I can't make up my mind.
  • Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: I started getting a little nauseous after brushing my teeth again.  Weird.  It doesn't last long, which I'm thankful for.
  • Sleep: It feels good to be back in my own bed surrounded by lots of comfy pillows!  Sleep is good, but we are back to sleep training Emma for the 100th time.  Coming back from vacation is not always fun with a toddler.
  • What I miss:  Nothing.  Life is good :)
  • Best Moment of the Week:  We got to celebrate our friend, Porter's 4th birthday and Emma had a blast playing in the water and eating cake in a cone.  Well, mostly eating the icing :)  It was nice to be back from vacation and get back into our routine.
  • Feeling:  Large.  Lol.  I have a feeling that the last 30 weeks is going to start catching up to me very soon.
  • What I'm excited about/looking forward to: We get a "date night" next weekend to go hang out with our friend, Ashlea, for her birthday.  We are looking forward to some good seafood!  Oh, and on a side note, I found that I did "fail" my glucose test!  Yikes.  My midwife at my 28 week appointment told me I was fine and then my OB at my appointment this week told me that I missed it by 1 point....1 POINT!!  Ah-now I have to take the 3 hour glucose test next week.  I'm not looking forward to that, but prayers that it goes well.  I should probably lay off the chocolate and carbs I've been gobbling down!

    • Total weight gain/loss:  +14

    • The Bump: Holy bump.  I'm loving all the sweet compliments about how I don't look almost 30 weeks pregnant. LOL.
    • Symptoms:  Headaches.  I'm sure it has to do with the weather change, but they have not been much fun.
    • Food Cravings: Not this week.
    • Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: Nope.
    • Sleep: Sleeping a little better this week.
    • What I miss: A good alcoholic drink and being able to fit in my clothes.

    • Any Names Picked Out Yet: We've thrown a few out, but not many.  I'm not sure we will have a name until the last minute!
    • Gender: It's a surprise :) Even though Michael found out and blabbed it to me and a few of our close friends, none of our other friends and family know.
    • Movement: Baby has slowed down a little this week, but still kicking.
    • Maternity Clothes: I am LOVING PinkBlush Maternity clothing.  I was fortunate enough to do a review for them on their clothing.  You can read the review here and see some different maternity looks.
    • Labor Signs: No!
    • Best Moment of the Week:  Michael and I spent a few days by ourselves visiting his hometown and then going to Chicago.  We had such a good time.  Emma stayed with her grandparents and I think I missed her more than she missed me.  Lol.  We also went back to the apple orchard before heading back to FL to pick apples.  It was such a great week overall!  You can see our Chicago picture here.

  • Feeling:  Great!  I'm still enjoying the weather and family time.
  • What I'm excited about/looking forward to:  Getting back home and getting ready for baby #2 to arrive!

    Chicago Trip 2015

Michael and I were lucky enough to get away for a few days and go visit his hometown in Indiana and then make a quick day trip to Chicago.  Emma stayed with her grandparents and of course, didn't miss me at all!

We went to this ah-mazing candy shop and spent entirely too much money on candy.  It was sooo good though, that we may have made two trips there.  Oops!  How fun does this candy store look?!

We drove through Michael's old neighborhood and where he grew up.  It was nice to just drive around and talk.  After we had lunch, we headed to his childhood friend's house and then went to Chicago.  We went to the Bean, took a tour of Solider Field, had a drink at the Signature Lounge and deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati's.  It was a little rainy, but that's my favorite kind of weather and I enjoyed every minute of our trip.

    Here are some pictures!

    • How far along?: 28 Weeks
    • Baby is the size of a: kabocha squash (14-16 in, 2.5 lbs) (according to WTE Pregnancy)
    • Total weight gain/loss:  +13
    • Stretch Marks? Still looking good with no new stretch marks this pregnancy.
    • The Bump: Holy bump.  I'm loving all the sweet compliments about how I don't look almost 30 weeks pregnant. LOL.
    • Symptoms:  I still have a pretty bad cold/cough that I can't seem to shake due to being pregnant.  I'm trying all natural remedies that I can think of.  Any suggestions?
    • Food Cravings: Sweets are getting the best of me!
    • Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: Nope.  I think it's safe to say that I am way past all of that nonsense.
    • Sleep: Still not sleeping well this week.  This cold is kicking my butt!  It seems to really get going in the evenings.
    • What I miss: Being able to take something strong to get rid of being sick.
    • Weddings Rings On or Off: On.
    • Any Names Picked Out Yet: We've thrown a few out, but not many.  I'm not sure we will have a name until the last minute!
    • Gender: It's a surprise :) Even though Michael found out and blabbed it to me and a few of our close friends, none of our other friends and family know.
    • Movement: I think we have a gymnast on our hands...or a soccer player!
    • Maternity Clothes: Oh, yes.  There is not fitting into anything that isn't maternity or workout.  I'm all about comfort.
    • Labor Signs: No!
    • Best Moment of the Week:  Getting to see Michael's family.  We flew into Indy to meet his brother and took a trip to Kentucky to stay with his parents for a few days.  We were able to get away for a much needed day date to Nashville and had a good time, baby-free.  Emma enjoyed herself with Gramma and Gramps!

She fell asleep still holding her bottle.  The trip wore her out!

When your kid-free, you have ice cream for lunch ;)

Emma and Uncle Brandon at the apple Orchard before we headed to KY
  • Feeling:  Great!  I'm enjoying the weather and family time.
  • What I'm excited about/looking forward to:  Going back to Indiana for the family reunion, a trip to Chicago and a fun photo-shoot for PinkBlush Maternity clothing!  It's going to be a wonderful week!
