Summer is for playing outside with friends, swimming, traveling and just being out in the sun! Unless, you live in Florida where 90 Degrees feels like 105 and the humidity is ridiculous. Then, the Summer is for hanging out in the shade with a yummy sno-cone!
I have been dying to try this sno-cone place out near the beach on Treasure Island called "Sno-Balls" Last week was the perfect opportunity to do so and we were not disappointed. They were cold and filled to the top with sugary syrup. Just as any good sno-cone should be. The color changing spoons were a big hit too!
My sweet, little neighbor Delainey, whom Emma just adores went with us to Toddler Time at the library earlier that day. We barely made it inside without looking like we had just showered. After leaving and of course, sweating all the way to the car, I decided it was the perfect day to go out and get sno-cones. Delainey agreed :)
Michael was home that day, so he even got to join us on our date, which is an even sweeter treat! "D" got cake batter, I got Bahama Mama and Michael got Cherry with Root Beer. YUM!
Look at that little face! We try not to let Emma have sugar, but sometimes I can't resist letting her join in all the fun!
I'm so thankful for the wonderful people in our lives. We really hit the neighbor jackpot when we bought our home last year and I love that Emma gets to make memories like these with them!
